final decision dv6750 but it's with amd

reading all the things ppl say when it comes to intel vs amd, i'm feeling kinda discouraged to buy an amd turion 64 x2 and my only shot was to hear the last opinion from the experts here to feel abit of satisfaction. :)
after wasting alot of time, i'm finally ordering pavilion dv6750ee in a day

after wasting alot of time, i'm finally ordering pavilion dv6750ee in a day or 2.

it has an amd turion 64 x2 TL-68 (2.4 ghz that is) (maximum offered by amd)

2gb ram, 250gb hdd, dvd burner lightscribe, geforce 8400M GS 256mb dedicated, fpr, bt, mic, cam, etc etc

i did read somewhere that this TL-68 is above all the 3 versions of 2.0 core2duo (T5750, T7250, T7300) and 2.2 c2d outperforms this 2.4 x2, but honestly it doesn't even matters. my question is, is there any POSSIBLE disadvantage of buying this turion 64 x2, like any compatibility issues regarding hardware/software, or in any upgrading situation. i'm just so confused. more i research online, more i get confused.
